For the CX401 cycling shoe, Lake chose an extremely lightweight kangaroo leather upper and mesh inserts to ensure maximum breathability, a comfortable fit, and high wear resistance. The Outlast tongue technology maintains a constant temperature. The Lake CX401 cycling shoe makes pedaling easier thanks to the patent-pending 3K woven carbon fiber sole with a reinforced heel. The comfortable and breathable sole perfectly supports the foot in the areas subjected to the greatest stress. To further improve the shoe's fit, Lake equipped the CX401 model with a lateral closure system with a BOA puller that allows for micro-adjustments to balance pressure.
