S-Works Prevail II Helmet

When it came time to revamp the S-Works Prevail, we knew it wouldn't be an easy task. The Prevail set the industry standard for fit, ventilation, and comfort. How? The answer was: listen to riders. Thanks to them, we realized that some aspects of the Prevail could be improved, particularly the request for a more compact design.
Together with the developers of MIPS, we created MIPS SL—an ultralight and extremely comfortable version. MIPS SL essentially integrates MIPS technology into the helmet padding itself. The minimalist attachment system provides 10 to 15 mm of rotation in each direction, offering the same protective benefits as other MIPS systems, while also being very lightweight and comfortable.
We redesigned the multi-density EPS construction, supported by an internal Aramid structure to reduce overall weight, make the profile slimmer and fit lower on the head for greater comfort and safety.
The deep internal channels are aligned from front to back, allowing airflow from intakes to exhausts, providing excellent head cooling. Wind tunnel tests have shown a six-second saving over a 40km distance compared to a standard road helmet. The Gutter Action system manages sweat, preventing it from getting into the eyes.
