Description
The design goal for the Recon 1.0 was simple: deliver comfort and performance at a great price. Easier said than done, but with the Recon 1.0, we've created a shoe that's efficient, durable, and comfortable thanks to Body Geometry construction.
The Recon 2.0's nylon outsole features a TPU (injection-molded thermoplastic polyurethane) toe cap for a degree of flex we call STRIDE toe-flex for a natural-feeling ride, while maintaining a stiffness index of 6.0. Efficient pedaling and comfortable off the bike.
We've also raised the heel slightly for an even more natural ride. SlipNot rubber on the outsole provides traction on any terrain.
Three Velcro straps make it easy to put on: a design created for comfort and performance on winding singletrack, but also on gravel paths.
• Ergonomically designed Body Geometry outsole and footbed, scientifically tested to deliver high power transfer, increase efficiency and reduce the risk of injury by optimising hip, knee and foot alignment.
• STRIDE toe-flex technology in the injection-molded nylon outsole allows for natural forefoot motion while maintaining a stiffness index of 6.0.
• SlipNot™ rubber tread outsole for added grip and durability in all conditions.
• Compatible with 2-bolt MTB pedal automatic engagement systems.
