Just because winning a World Cup XC race isn't your daily routine, doesn't mean you don't value comfort and performance. The Recon 2.0 shoes are efficient and comfortable thanks to their Body Geometry construction.
The Recon 2.0's nylon outsole features a TPU (injection-molded thermoplastic polyurethane) toe cap for a degree of flex we call STRIDE toe-flex for a natural-feeling ride, while maintaining a stiffness index of 6.0. We've also raised the heel slightly for an even more natural ride.
The upper of the Recon 2.0 is made of XPEL Mesh, which is comfortable, water-repellent, lightweight, and quick-drying. SlipNot rubber on the outsole provides traction on any terrain.
A Boa L6 dial and a Velcro forefoot strap ensure a great fit: a design created for comfort and performance on winding singletrack, but also on gravel trails.
• Ergonomically designed Body Geometry outsole and footbed, scientifically tested to deliver high power transfer, increase efficiency and reduce the risk of injury by optimising hip, knee and foot alignment.
• STRIDE toe-flex technology in the injection-molded nylon outsole allows for natural forefoot motion while maintaining a stiffness index of 6.0.
• The heat-sealed upper reduces seams, for a very comfortable fit.
• Boa® LP6 dial for micro-adjustment.
